In recent years, the Mamirauá Institute has been strengthening its relationship with the press, aligning its image with the following ideas:
- Commitment to Amazonian conservation;
-Development of scientific research as a Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications Institute, adhering to a standard of excellence;
- Development of management practices that are environmentally sustainable, economically viable and socially just;
- Encouragement of community development by training and capacity building of local leaders and encouraging that all exercise their full citizenship rights.
